Concept Board

The Brief:

To produce a photo story for Lula Magazine, inspired by their aesthetic, values and tone of voice.

The Approach:

As the publication is female-led and provides content surrounding the female gaze, we felt it was appropriate to open an honest conversation amongst women on the topic of female objectification in the media.

The Concept:

“I am Not an Object” aims to translate women as objects in a literal sense, removing any signs of personality and to portray them as an item.

The Results:

An editorial story designed for Lula Magazine centred around the idea of objectification in the media.
