We’re Not Really Strangers: ‘Strangers No More’

3D Visualisation Pop-up Space

Skills used:

Brand research and insight strategy, Idea generation, Concept creation, Twinmotion software, Physical collage, Adobe Photoshop.

The Brief:

Briefed by Revolve Agency, to create a physical brand activation for the brand ‘We’re Not Really Strangers’.

The Approach:

I created a 3D prototype pop-up event using Twinmotion software to visualise how the brand WNRS can expand into physical spaces.

The Concept:

The aim was to revive meaningful social connections and challenge the lack of interaction on social media.

A pop-up event offers a sociable function, providing the foundation to prompt meaningful connections with others. The contents of the event itself will provide a moment of pause, reflection, and tranquillity away from the mundanity of everyday life.

Using references such as Liz West and Jen Lewin, who design life-sized immersive and collaborative installations. The idea was to take an element of playfulness and experimentation into a physical space, so it would give people a talking point or moment of thoughtfulness.

The Results:

A pop-up event that consists of two rooms; the first being a reflective mirrored wall that enables photo-taking, adjacent to an evolving wall of user-published, personal quotes. This room would encourage photo-taking through it’s co-creative features.

The second room encourages thoughtfulness and a moment of pause. Sociable seating areas overlook a meditative gradient screen, encouraging relaxation through it’s hypnotising effects, whilst interchanging questions on the wall prompt thoughts.
