The Brief:

To find a solution to tackle the loneliness issue found within Gen-Z due to the interferance of technology on people’s relationships, with the aim  to ‘revive meaningful social connections and challenge the lack of interaction on social media’.











The Approach:

I created a Consultancy agency to provide a solution to encourage social connections for Gen-z through supporting and advising brands to provide spaces and activations to allow them to reconnect with intention.



A B2B strategy was most effective to solve a wide-scale generation problem due to having the platform and power to influence consumers through brands.

The Concept:

‘Offset play’ was the overall concept for the project. The name derives from the need for counterbalance of wellbeing and escapism in the consumers highly ambitious, flourishing lifestyles. Whilst the consumer demands for physical immersive experiences, an element of ‘play’ allows for a more significant sense of escapism as they can connect to their inner child and repose with feelings of nostalgia and optimism.



The web design developed to visually portray the brand’s core values; with circular design that ‘revolves’ around the brands ethos. The concise colour palette reinforces the methods of physicality, collaboration, and interaction as the brand’s non-negotiables in their work approach.




Branding:

The name resulted from the brand’s ethos, reflecting their purpose of ‘revolving’ around the consumer’s needs. This felt suitable and reflected the authenticity and genuine nature that they convey in their approach.


The Results:

A website, supported with promotional materials including an Instagram account, a monthly newsletter insights report and business cards.
